Job Description:
We are excited to be on the hunt for a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Country Manager.
As part of our team, you’ll be responsible for the commercial performance and localisation of our casino and sportsbook products across key Asian markets. Acting as the Market Owner, this role combines acquisition strategy with casino management to ensure the product, campaigns and partnerships are fully aligned with local player needs, while driving growth and profitability.
Responsibilities:
- Acquisition Growth
- Own the acquisition strategy for the region ensuring delivery of FTDs and active player targets.
- Build and manage partnerships with affiliates, influencers and local media to drive qualified traffic.
- Support global acquisition campaigns with local insights, ensure cultural fit and competitive position.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends and target audience demographics to inform product and acquisition strategy.
- Provide ROI analysis and optimise acquisition channels for efficiency.
- Casino Product & Market Fit
- Ensure the casino portfolio (games, studios, features) match local player demand.
- Oversee game positioning, lobby layout and CMS banner placement.
- Collaborate with Sportsbook team to align with major events and niche sports popular in the market.
- Recommend new content or providers to strengthen the local product mix.
- Conduct competitor analysis to benchmark casino and sportsbook offering against the market and recommend product improvements.
- Content & Campaigns
- Provide clear guidance for content and design teams on cultural aesthetics, imagery and creative cues that connect with the local audience.,
- Review and approve marketing materials, landing pages, campaigns to ensure market relevance with brand integrity.
- Plan and execute seasonal and cultural promotions.
- Work with CRM on localised retention and reactivation campaigns.
- Provide input to VIP Account Managers and Player Marketing teams to tailor comms for tiered players.
- Evaluate competitor and market trends to keep content and promotional strategy competitive.
- Payments & User Experience
- Ensure local payment methods are available, visible and optimised.
- Identify and escalate friction in dep/ withdrawals flows to reduce conversion drop off and churn.
- Compliance & Regulation
- Monitor local market regulations and flag risks.
- Data & Reporting
- Track KPIs (FTDs, CNVs, Actives, NGR/GGR, ARPU, retention rates and churn)
- Deliver regular geo-specific insights and performance reports to leadership.
- Optimise partnerships and campaigns based on measurable ROI.
Requirements:
- 5+ years in iGaming with experience in Casino product management and acquisition strategy.
- Proven success in Asian markets with deep cultural understanding.
- Strong knowledge of affiliate marketing, player acquisition and local partnerships
- Commercially minded with experience in P&L and ROI accountability.
- Data-driven decision maker with strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication in English; fluency in Japanese and or other Asian languages is a strong plus.
